with Malcolm Huxter

June 13 - 16, 2025

This retreat is an introduction to the Buddha’s mindfulness of breathing practice as described in the Ānāpānasati Sutta. This sutta describes 16 steps co-joining the insight and serenity aspects of meditation to arrive at complete awakening. Over the two and half days of this retreat, participants will be invited practice at least up until the 8th step. Participants will also be invited to practice one or more of the four divine abodes: benevolence, compassion, appreciative joy and or equanimity.

The retreat finishes lunch time on Monday June 16. However, if participants cannot manage to stay until Monday, they will be welcome to leave the retreat late on Sunday June 15.
