Louise Taylor

Louise Taylor has practised meditation for over 20 years and has been teaching since 2018. Louise is a founding member of Radiant Mind Insight Meditation and leads single and multi-day meditation retreats. Her teaching is grounded in the clear practice methodology of the Mahāsi Sayādaw lineage. She encourages practitioners to find a refuge in nature, enquiring deeply and compassionately into our shared experience of being human.

The Middle Way - Two week retreat

In his first formal discourse the Buddha introduced the middle way as the central theme of his teaching. How is this to be understood? The middle way is not mere moderation, but the dynamic recognition that there is no fixed position in our experience, no where we can land and cling to. This teaching points to both freedom from clinging and our opening to universal love and compassion. These are the themes we will explore in our retreat.
