Malcolm McClintock

Malcolm began meditating in 1966 at the age of 16 years in Sydney and has trained with a broad range of experienced and respected teachers over many years in
Australia and overseas.

His teachers include Sivali Mahathera,  Sayadaw U Janaka, Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw U Indaka as well as Mahasi Sayadaw himself. Malcolm has also practiced with Joseph Goldstein and and Jack Kornfield.

Malcolm has twice taken temporary ordination while in Burma. His practice is centered around Vipassana, Samatha and Metta.

Deep Practice Retreat
November 19 - December 3, 2026

This retreat will be jointly led by Malcolm McClintock and Patrick Kearney. It is designed for experienced practitioners who are independent in their practice. A community of practice will be formed where shared practice will replace the normal structure of workshops, dharma talks and scheduled interviews. Practicing together with Malcolm and Patrick, the community will meet each evening to share  daily experiences, just as the students of the Buddha did in the earliest days of the dharma.
