Six-day Retreat
with Lesley Lebkowicz and Malcolm McClintock

This five-day retreat will include both Metta and Vipassana, and focus on the benefit of vipassana practised with a kindly mind. Malcolm was first authorised to teach by the late Mahasi Sayadaw himself. This will be his first, long-awaited formal offering as a teacher.

Lesley Lebkowicz
Lesley Lebkowicz has been practicing vipassana meditation for 40 years and has spent several years in silent retreat in Australia, the USA and Burma. She has worked as a teacher, counsellor and writer and currently divides her time between formal spiritual practice and writing. Lesley founded and led the Canberra Insight Meditation Group for 13 years. Her teaching highlights a kindly connection and acceptance of our experience.

Malcolm McClintock
Malcolm began meditating in 1966 at the age of 16 years in Sydney and has trained with a broad range of experienced and respected teachers over many years in Australia and overseas. His teachers include Sivali Mahathera, Sayadaw U Janaka, Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw U Indaka as well as Mahasi Sayadaw himself. Malcolm has also practiced with Joseph Goldstein and and Jack Kornfield. Malcolm has twice taken temporary ordination while in Burma. His practice is centered around Vipassana, Samatha and Metta.
