Reopening the Centre

Hello Dharma Friends!

Well, it’s been a while, but finally we are opening up here at the Centre.  It has been an exciting time with Spring bringing new life to the garden and we are busy making repairs, redecorating, cleaning, stocking up and making preparations for our first face to face retreat with Jill Shepard and Graham Wheeler in mid-January.  We are so grateful to be welcoming yogi’s back to BMIMC for 2022.

The retreat schedule for the year is now open so please have a look and book your retreat.  The Management Committee has re-assessed the Centre’s Covid policy and you can read the current policy here

At this stage we are uncertain as to whether our overseas teachers will be able to fly into Australia.  If they can’t make it in person, we will run their retreats in the “hybrid” format, where we have a big screen in the hall and the teachers zoom in remotely for teaching sessions and the yogi interviews.  This way you can still be at the Centre for your retreat and enjoy the support of the sanga as you practice.

We wish you a peaceful Christmas and new year and are looking forward to seeing you at the Centre in 2022.

Much Metta

Deb, Mark, Maybe (the dog) and all at BMIMC

  1. I am so thrilled to hear this. I am on a wait list for a retreat with Patrick Kearney in February 2022.

I hope to be able to offer some support to the Centre.
