Tara encourages a relaxed and spacious approach to meditation to support the development of confidence and independence in practice. The weekend comprises instruction and formal practice sessions in both metta (lovingkindness) and mindfulness meditation, as well as an engaged attention to everday activities. These will be presented within the context of the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path.
People are welcome to arrive at the Centre on the Thursday evening before the retreat between 5pm and 7.30pm. A light supper and breakfast will be provided. Please indicate on the registration form if you plan to arrive on the Thursday night and include an additional fee of $25 with your payment.
This retreat is suitable for beginners.Starting time: Friday 11 am
Finishing time: Monday with lunch at 1pm
